Good Product - Bad Battery - Bad Support
I bought the Fluke 125/S because I needed to check BACnet and LonWorks wiring segments. The meter does that, and does it well. It is relatively easy to use, though the documentation wasn't that great.
If you want to capture waveforms onto a PC, you'll need a 32 bit OS because the cable they provide for the IR to USB interface has only 32 bit drivers. The software is also a bit clunky, but it gets the job done.
The unit I bought came with a dead battery and they wanted me to send back the whole instrument to get a replacement instead of sending me a new battery. When I first got the meter, I needed it and didn't want to wait for it to go back.
With an instrument of this cost, they should have sent a new battery or meter with a return shipping label for the old one. I would have been OK with them putting a hold on a credit card until my old meter made it back to them.
In the end, I have a good meter with a bad battery.
