At the end of a Passing test sequence, a voltage is applied to the Equipment Under Test (EUT) from Line to Neutral. The current draw of the EUT is displayed on the front panel meter of the HT-Series tester. An isolated analog voltage signal (proportional to the current draw of the EUT) is available on a rear-panel connector.

Run time can be specified and is factory set to your needs. Hipot test time is adjustable exactly like a stock tester.

If a failure is encountered during the hipot test sequence, the test is terminated as usual and no run time test is conducted.
