Features:
- Generates the waveforms required by GR-1089, Issue 1, 2 or 3 in accordance with the referenced Table or Paragraph.
- Theoretical graphs and actual graphs showing the output of your tester are included with each MegaPulse within the 968 Series, allowing easy sanity checks and proof to visiting agency engineers of test setups.
- 1000:1 BNC Oscilloscope output allows quick connections and easy evaluation of output waveforms.
- Reverse polarity waveforms available by pushing a button on the front panel. No need to change the test setup. Positive polarity indication minimizes errors.
- Additional outputs for four-wire testing, as needed, up to four.
- 1 year warranty

Peak output voltage is 1000 volts minimum, peak short circuit current is 100A minimum. A switch is provided for reversal of output polarity. Optional divider network available for oscilloscope connection.
Waveform generated is 10x1000/10x1000, Vp= 1000V. To perform the Surge 1 test, the front panel voltage meter is set to 600V and the 6 ohm tap is used. To perform the Surge 3 test, the front panel voltage meter is set to 1000V and the 10 ohm tap is used.
Two output taps are provided, one with Zout=6Ω and one with Zout=10Ω.
Enclosure is 19 x 3U, rack mountable (not as shown).
Outputs are isolated.
The MegaPulse 10x1000s-1 ships with cables, graphs of theoretical and actual waveforms, and a Calibration Certificate. One year warranty. Options include relay outputs for PLC control, and two 1000:1 oscilloscope BNC jacks (differential mode only).
