Need to quickly monitor environmental temperatures in multiple locations but don't have the time or the desire to leave a stand alone datalogger? Consider these easy to use pocket dataloggers.
Versatile -go anywhere- pocket dataloggers can be placed where needed to record temperature or voltage measurements. Three models offer temperature or temperature/voltage measurements.
These small units are programmable, up to eight at a time, via an infrared PC interface. Once programmed using the easy Windows® based software, the pocket dataloggers can be placed where needed to begin recording. A green LED confirms operation and two red LEDs flag alarms. Optional remote control unit can start and stop measurements. Up to 21674 measurements can be recorded with 12 bit resolution for excellent accuracy. A Lithium battery provides up to 3 years of life. With its compact polycarbonate case, the dataloggers are protected from most hostile environments.
Datalogger Setup: With the IRDA Interface connected to a PC and the Windows® software selected, you will be able to initialize the datalogger(s). You can then define quickly and easily various logging parameters such as sensor types, sampling rates, starts and run modes, and channel labels. A simple click transfers the configuration directly to the dataloggers through the IRDA interface. You then just deploy the dataloggers to the desired locations.
Data Transfer and Analysis: After acquisition by the IRDA interface, data may be down loaded to your PC. The software allows you to display measurements graphically, with cursors or digital values. The users can store and recall data info files and see traces with different colors. Temperatures can be displayed in either °C or °F. You can also save the data and export to a spread sheet and data bases.
