Description
The Model PQL 100 (1MB memory) is a single-phase Power Quality Logger designed to measure and log from a complete suite of electrical and power quality parameters. It is accompanied by an easy-to-use report compliant software package.
The Model PQL 100 is designed for North American commercial, industrial and residential applications, and is plugged into a standard AC receptacle. In turn, any 120V load, may be plugged into the PQL: office equipment, data equipment, machinery, compressors, heaters, motors, etc.
The Model PQL 100 measures, records and stores selected parameters in its 1MB memory. Along with the standard electrical parameters (V, A, W, Var, PF...), it also stores the Power Quality of the input waveforms (Harmonics, THD, Surge, Sag, K-Factor...). The recorded information is retrieved from a computer via an RS-232 serial link using the report compliant DataView software package, which provides graphs, data and pre-configured reports.

Five worst-case THD waveforms for each for Voltage and Current: One per 1/5 of recording session length, Five worst surge (duration X magnitude) & sag occurrences are automatically recorded in high-resolution mode (RMS value of each cycle is recorded for 128 cycles at the entry and 128 cycles at the exit of the surge/sag) regardless of the storage rate selected. One waveform per each occurrence of the worst-case surge/sag with the worst THD is stored. A table for the 100 worst-case occurrences of the surge/sag is maintained. The table stores time & date, duration & magnitude of each surge/sag including the high-resolution mode surge/sag. In addition, an Event Counter is maintained for all occurrences of the surge/sag. |
| Operation Indicators |
Red: Solid on when AC voltage is present, Yellow: Solid on when data stored in memory. Single blinks when memory is full, Green: Single blinks when the logger is in Standby mode. Double blinks when the logger is in Recording mode |
